# 7 Teaser Tuesday

This week my teaser comes from 'Life of Pi' by Yann Martel.

'I spent hours trying to decipher the lines in the survival manual on navigation. Plain and simple explanation on living off the sea was given in adundancee, but a basic knowledge of seafaring was assumed by the author of the manual.'

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page

BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! Share the title & author, too, so that others can add the book to their TBR Lists!

  1. Great tease! I really want to read this. Heard both good and bad reports. Sounds to me like it was very cleverly written - two point of views etc.

Clever! Here is mine. Please drop by and say hello! I'd love to hear from you.

    Have a great Tuesday!

    Sassy Brit

  2. I've always been meaning to read this one.

    Good teaser.

  3. I read this one--it's something else! The first half was pretty boring but it picks up--stick with it.

    Here's ours:

  4. Life of a pi has been in my TBR list since a long time , high time i get a copy.

  5. One of my favourite books ever!! I mean, really! Not only do I love the parts on the ocean, but even before the ship sank, or sailed even! And everything about zoos and religion and what not. Yann Martel has really done a great job, hasn't he?
    Wonderful teaser!!
